Austin named 3rd most generous city in U.S.

Austin has been ranked in the top 10 most generous cities in the United States, along with five other Texas communities.
The Capital City ranked No. 3 behind Dallas but was listed above Houston, Arlington, and Fort Worth.
The average holiday charitable donation in Austin is $149.60, according to data provided by Bundle, a provider of information on consumer spending habits.
Austinites increase their charitable donations during the holiday season by 16.2 percent compared with rest of the year.
